Currently, Mastercard Foundation has partnered with three Canadian universities to offer scholarships to scholars from Africa. This scholarship is sponsored by the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada. 3. University of Alberta Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students
This is an undergraduate degree scholarship program aimed at attracting top students from around the globe to study at the University of Alberta. Applications for this scholarship typically close around March and December annually.
4. ACI Foundation Scholarship in USA & Canada for Undergraduate and Graduate Students
ACI stands for the American Concrete Institute, which is the sponsor of this scholarship program targeted to all students around the globe for their undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Applications for this scholarship typically close by October every year.
5. MMMF Scholarship for Women from Developing Countries in USA and Canada
The Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund is the sponsor of this scholarship. It targets female students from developing countries who are currently studying in either the USA or Canada. Each scholar is awarded a grant worth about $12,000.
