Job Title: Javascript Tutor
Location: Jos, Plateau
Responsibilities
- Develop and issue educational content including notes, tests, and assignments.
- Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.
- Organize supplies and resources for lectures and presentations.
- Deliver personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning.
- Upload your materials to the platform we use for the online learning.
- Plan and implement educational activities and events.
- Ensure your classroom is clean and orderly.
- Prepare and distribute periodic progress reports and semester report cards.
- Evaluate and document students’ progress.
- Allocate and grade homework, assignments, and tests.
- Assist in research, development, improving the learning standard of the Chukolo community.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years experience in web technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Knowledgeable of JavaScript with a good understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
- Full-stack web development experience.
- Experience with a responsive design for desktop/mobile.
- Extensive HTML / CSS / AJAX / Javascript (jQuery, Backbone/Angular/Ember) coding experience.
- Experience with other JavaScript libraries like ExtJS, Backbone.js.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment.
